There are other options if you're in the market for a good SS or OU, but if it's that Ruger on the gun that you want, you'll need to be keep looking. A 12 gauge is your best bet to get one at a good price. Expect the 20 gauges to be pricey, though and the 28s insanely so. Still some used ones around that can be had at that price, again. they just showed up one day at sportsmans warehouse, but before that you couldn't get one for love nor money (well, money maybe, but way more than the msrp). typical ruger- make something well, at a good price, and then hold it back or discontinue it. not the answer(s) i was hoping for, especially now that i've gone on youtube a bunch and seen videos of how purty they are. check the website, as those folks know and post first. I just called ruger about this (got a little incensed that i missed the whole red label window by a matter of months).
